Medical Physics Residency Program

“The radiation oncology physics residency program affiliated with the WSU Medical Physics Program is run through the Karmanos Cancer Center (KCC). It is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Physics Educational Programs (CAMPEP). The program is based within the Gershenson Radiation Oncology Center and is administrated by both the WSU and Karmanos faculty members.  Program statistics can be found here. The program has affiliate locations at McLaren-Flint and Windsor Regional Cancer Center.  There are currently 2 residents at each location (Karmanos Cancer Center / Gershenson ROC, Detroit, MI  -  McLaren Health Care-Flint, Flint, MI  -  Windsor Regional Cancer Center, Windsor, ON, CA).  Positions at the WRCC site begin in July and applications are accepted through the MedPhys Match.  Positions within the KCC/GROC and MHC-Flint begin in January and applications will be accepted each year in August.  For additional information, please contact Paige Davis, Program Coordinator, at pgdavis@med.wayne.edu.
